I’m a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor as well as a National Certified Counselor. After completing my Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Shepherd University, I earned my Master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Johns Hopkins University. In December, I will complete a certificate program in advanced trauma treatment. I joined CCS and IC in September of 2018 and currently co-facilitate Intensive Outpatient Programs with teens and adults. I conduct intakes and assessments for teens and adults for all levels of education, outpatient treatment, and DUI/DWI programs. I see individual clients with various psychological disorders.
I have extensive experience working with children using multiple modalities and approaches. I value working with adults and adolescents who experience symptoms of depression and anxiety. I believe the client is the expert on what they need and want in their life, and my role is to provide the tools and support needed to achieve them. My goal for my clients is to provide a safe space for clients to feel accepted, understood, and heard. I believe that everyone has the possibility to change and live the life they deserve. I want clients to know they are not alone in the healing process.
