Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Chenelle’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree was bestowed from the University of Maryland.  She has an extensive history in caring for critically ill patients at top-rated hospitals throughout Maryland.  While working in critical care, Chenelle recognized the great need for psychiatric care providers and the profound connection between mind and body. This realization led her to pursue a Master of Science in Nursing degree from Wilkes University, specializing in psychiatric-mental health.  Her background has given her the ability to differentiate between psychiatric and medical disorders and provide comprehensive education on the interplay of the mind and body.  

Chenelle is a board-certified psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner who treats a wide array of mental health disorders including, but not limited to anxiety, depression, bipolar, and attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder.  She has a comprehensive approach to treatment. Chenelle holds the firm belief that the path to wellness is laid by involving various modalities of intervention, some of which include psychiatric medication management, supportive therapy, and lifestyle modifications.  She welcomes the adult population, from all walks of life, seeking a supportive, empathetic provider of mental healthcare.
